How do I add a site?

Accessing site management

To add a new site in TrackZero, follow these steps:

Navigate to Measure in the top menu.
Click Manage Sites to open the Manage Sites pop-up.

Adding a new site

Click the Add Site button.
A pop-up form will appear where you can enter the site details.

Site information fields

When adding a new site, you will need to provide the following details:

Name*: The name of the site (e.g., "Warehouse" or "Head Office").
Type*: Select from the dropdown list (e.g., Head Office, Office, Factory, Warehouse, Store, Other).
Floor space and Area unit*: Enter the site's floor space and choose its unit (e.g., sqm).
Address: Optionally enter Address line 1, Address line 2, Address line 3, City, County/State, and Postcode/ZIP Code.
Country*: Select the country where the site is located.
Exclude from calculations: Tick this to default the site's emission records to be excluded from reporting and organisation calculations.

If your organisation operates from a single location, you can just use "Head Office" as a catch-all. Your subscription tier limits how many sites you can add; if you reach the limit, you can request an upgrade from the same page.

Saving the site

After filling in the required details, click Save.
The new site will now be listed under the Manage Sites section and will be available when entering emissions data.

Managing existing sites

Click the Edit icon next to a site in Manage Sites to update any of its details, including marking it as excluded from your emissions calculations without removing it entirely. See How do I add a new site to my organisation? for the full set of site management options.

Returning to the measure section

Once you’ve added your site, click Measure at the top of the page to return to the Measure section, where you can proceed with your emissions assessments and footprint tracking.
