How do I set up two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your TrackZero account. This page covers changing your password and setting up 2FA.

Accessing security settings

1. Click the Settings (cog wheel) icon at the top right of the page.
2. Select Security from the left-hand sidebar.

Changing your password

1. From the Security section, click Change Password.
2. Follow the prompts to create a new password.

Setting up two-factor authentication

Two methods are available, each with its own Enable button:

• Authenticator App: Use an app like Google Authenticator or Authy to generate one-time codes.
• Email: Send a one-time password to your email address.

You can enable one or both, for extra flexibility if you lose access to one method. Once enabled, you'll be asked to verify with your chosen method each time you sign in.

Organisation-wide 2FA

Organisation admins can turn on a requirement for all team members to use two-factor authentication from Settings > Organisation — see How do I update information about my organisation?.
