Verifiers

Getting started as a verifier

If a TrackZero client organisation has asked you to verify their emissions data, this page explains how you get access and what you can and can't do.

You don't need a special account type

Being a verifier isn't a separate kind of TrackZero account: it simply means an organisation has invited your email address to review their data. Anyone can become a verifier for an organisation just by being invited; there's no separate sign-up process specific to verifiers.

Getting access

When an organisation invites you, they'll do so using your email address. You'll receive an email letting you know you've been invited to verify assessments for that organisation.

  • If you already have a TrackZero account, just log in as normal; you'll be taken to your verifier dashboard automatically.
  • If you don't have an account yet, follow the link in the invite email to TrackZero, then sign up using exactly the email address the organisation invited: access is matched by email address, so a different email won't work. After creating your password, you'll be asked for a few details about yourself (name, telephone, job title), and then taken straight to your verifier dashboard.

What you can access

As a verifier, you're limited to reviewing the organisations that have invited you. You won't have access to any other part of TrackZero: no Measure, Plan, Engage, Report, or Promote features, and no visibility into anything beyond the records shared with you.

If you're invited by more than one organisation, they'll all appear as separate entries on your dashboard; see Reviewing records.
