How do I add an emissions assessment?

Adding an emissions assessment in TrackZero allows you to track and measure your organisation's carbon footprint over a reporting period. Follow these steps to create a new emissions assessment.

1. Navigate to the measure tab

• Click on Measure in the top navigation menu.

2. Select the reporting year

• Click on the Year dropdown at the top left of the Measure page.
• Choose the correct year for which you want to add an emissions assessment.

3. Add a new emissions assessment

• Click Add Entry in the Emissions Assessments section.
• A pop-up will appear titled New Emissions Record.

4. Choose reporting period and site

• Select the Reporting Period from the dropdown.
• Choose the Site where the emissions assessment applies.
• Click Next to proceed.

If your organisation only has one reporting period or one site, this step is skipped automatically.

5. Select an assessment type

• A second pop-up will appear titled Select Assessment.
• Choose the relevant assessment type from the dropdown list.
• If your plan includes it, you may also be offered a choice between the guided Assessment and the Advanced Editor for spreadsheet-style entry.
• Click Next to proceed.

6. Complete and save the assessment

• Once the assessment is added, you can begin inputting emissions data for that reporting period.
